When can I access my belongings at the facility?
You can access the property with your gate access code between the hours of 6:00 am and 8:30 pm seven days a week.
What type of security do you have?
We feature 24-hour video surveillance cameras, state of the art motion activated lasers and individual gate access codes. Our manager resides on-site for added security.
Do I get a lock when I move in?
We have a variety of locks available for purchase in our office, as well as a wide range of packing supplies to help make your move easier.
What kind of documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?
We require a government-issued ID such as a state-issued driver’s license, state ID or passport. All renters must be at least 18 years old.
What are the payment terms?
All of our units are leased on a month-to-month basis for your convenience. We also offer move-in specials.
Do I need insurance on my belongings?
Yes, you are required to insure your belongings at Pittsburg Mini Storage. We offer affordable self-storage insurance options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, please bring in a copy of the declaration at the time of rental.
How do I make a payment?
We have a variety of options. You can make a payment online through our website, pay in person or via mail using a check or money order. You may also sign up for our convenient monthly autopay option.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
Is my initial monthly storage unit rent guaranteed for as long as I rent my storage unit?
We are always working to provide the best customer experience possible at Pittsburg Mini Storage at an affordable rate. At times, we may find it necessary to make adjustments to our customers’ rental rates in order to keep up with the rising costs associated with providing superior service and a clean, secure facility.
Do you offer RV/Boat/Auto/Motorcycle parking?
We offer uncovered parking spaces at the facility. Check online or with the facility manager for current rates.
Can I change my storage unit to a different size after I have already moved in?
Our manager will work with you to find the perfect storage size. If the unit size you want is available at the facility, then yes, you can transfer to another unit.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to assist you at move in.
